Trainer Parsard highlights Caymanas Park racing with a triple

Commentary by Track Announcer Brian Rickman

Trainer Peter John Parsard highlighted Saturday's 9-race card at Caymanas Park with a three timer and a runner-up spot from the 4 horses he saddled on the day.

Parsard who is a third generation conditioner, won race 3 with the 3-5 favourite Uncle Peck under Dane Dawkins; race 6 with the 5-2 chance Feeling Free with apprentice Jereau Stewart and the 7th event where the 3-5 favourite I'm Outstanding with Bebeto Harvey won ahead of stable companion Roaring Kitty.

Meanwhile, the 4-5 favourite Mohanlal from the stables of Richard Azan and ridden by apprentice Tajay Suckoo, landed the feature event, the Miss Ruth Trophy, a maiden special weight contest for native bred 2 year olds over 6 furlongs.

The bay colt disputed the headlines with Another Quality before going away in the stretch for a convincing victory.
He covered the distance in 1:16.2 minutes to win by 10 lengths.

No jockey had more than one win on the programme. Racing continues on Sunday with another 9-race card starting at noon.
