US-based swimmer breaks national 200m medley record

US-based Jamaican Keanan Dols enhanced his reputation as the best medley swimmer the country has seen for many years, on Thursday night. Dols lowered the national age group record for the 200 metre medley to 2:07.26 seconds at the AT&T US Winter Nationals in Washington.

It puts him closer to the senior national record of 2:05.60 seconds set by Andrew Phillips in the final of that event at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angles.
