The man regarded as
having the influenced the West Indies recent winning ways has been approached
by the England
and Wales Cricket Board to be their next coach.
CEO of the West Indies Cricket Board Donald Peters has confirmed that Coach John Dyson has been approached.
However, Dyson is still contracted to the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) until November 2010 but Peters says if he is presented with a better offer the board will be hard pressed to keep the Australian.
Peters says Dyson has not made any formal report on the issue but they are open to the fact that he could be the next England coach.
Dyson was hired by the WICB following the 2007 Cricket World Cup to replace another Australian Bennett King.
