West Indies captain Carlos Brathwaite says they will not be underestimating Pakistan as they head into the first of their three match T20 international series on Friday in the United Arab Emirates starting at 11:00 am Jamaica time.
The West Indies who are two time World T20 champions and ranked number 3 in the world, will enter the series as favourites ahead of the 7th ranked Pakistanis.
But despite the big favourite’s tag, Brathwaite is urging caution against the unpredictable Pakistanis. “The media and the public always say we are both unpredictable so hopefully we’ll get three very good unpredictable games from both teams. We will play them with due respect and draw up a plan for each player and it’s about execution when we get out on the park,” said Brathwaite.
