Windies T20 skipper says players not adapting to conditions quickly

Voice of West Indies T20 captain Shai Hope

West Indies limited overs captain Shai Hope says players are not adapting to conditions quickly enough in the T20 game. The West Indies have lost six of their last seven T20 international series following their 2-1 loss to Pakistan in Florida on Sunday.

It follows a 5-0 hammering from Australia, marking the first time that the Caribbean men had lost all their matches in a series of four or more games.

In the world ranking, Hope at 10th is the lone West Indian in the top 20, with the next being Brandon King who moved up 9 places to 21st in the July 27 edition. According to the Windies skipper, the team did not assess conditions in Florida properly. The Windies next T20 series will be a historic bilateral three match tour against Nepal in September.
