The West Indies missed the chance for a series win over New Zealand women after suffering a super over loss in the 4th match of their T20 series at the Sir Viv Richards Stadium in Antigua on Wednesday.
After the scores ended tied, the Windies made 15 in the super over with Natasha Mclean making 6 and Hayley Matthews 3 to go along with 6 extras.
Having gotten 11 off the first 5 deliveries, Sophie Devine smashed a six off the final ball to take New Zealand to a series clinching victory.
Earlier, chasing 112 for victory, the Windies women needing four runs from the last over, ended on 111-9.
Jamaican Chedean Nation led the scorers with 23, while another Jamaican Rashada Williams made 16 and Alliah Alleyne also chipped in with 16. Devine claimed 3-29.
Earlier, the Kiwi women were restricted to 111-4 with Amelia Kerr ending unbeaten with 49 from 47 balls. Lauren Down 17 and Maddy Green 14 chipped in for the visitors against vice-captain Afy Fletcher 2-16.
Captain Matthews had 1-15. The fifth and final game of the series takes place on Thursday at the same venue.
