Windwards Volcanoes in control against Jamaica after day 2 in 6th round of PCL

Jamaica have work to do against Windwards Volcanoes entering Sunday's 3rd day of the 6th round of the WICB PCL 4-day Championship at the Arnos Vale ground in St. Vincent.

They trail by 85 runs on first innings with three wickets to dislodge.

The Windwards Volcanoes will resume on 289-7 with former West Indies batsman Andre Fletcher on 102 not out. He received support from Tyrone Theophille 55 and Devon Smith 36 against David Bernard Jr 4-41 and Odean Brown 2-69. Jamaica made 204 all out in their first turn at bat with Jermaine Blackwood hitting 96.

Jamaica has picked up 3 bonus points and the Volcanoes 5.

Meanwhile, at the Sir Vivian Richards stadium in Antigua, the Leewards Hurricanes trail Guyana Jaguars by 92 runs entering Sunday's 3rd day.

Scores: Leewards 139 and 36-1; Guyana Jaguars 267 (Rahkeem Cornwall 7-96).

And at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, The Barbados Pride lead the Trinidad & Tobago Red Force by 72 runs.

Scores: Barbados 275 and 15-0; T&T Red Force 218.

The Jaguars lead the standings with 75 points ahead of Barbados 60 and Jamaica 53.
