Excelsior High have joined St Andrew Technical from Zone 1 to the quarter final round of the ISSA Manning Cup, following their 3-2 win over Tivoli Gardens High in the final series of matches in the Round of 16 on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Vauxhall High came out top in Zone 3 after beating previous leaders Charlie Smith High 1-0. The two are through to the quarter final round. St Catherine High who started with a glimmer of hope, knowing that a Charlie Smith victory would have seen them through, beat St George's College 5-1.
The win for St Catherine High was only good enough to take them to the Ben Francis Cup knock out competition. The Manning Cup continues on Wednesday with another 4 matches.
