Young Jamaican cyclist warms up for Caribbean Junior Championship

Young Jamaican cyclist Khalil Francis continued his preparation for the Caribbean Junior Championships with victory at the Chocolate City Criterium in Washington DC. Racing in the Under-20 category, Francis covered the distance in 52 minutes.

Francis who is coached by Jamaican Olympian Peter Aldridge, continued his good form following up his creditable performance at the recent Chicago Elgin Classic.

Racing for Philly Bike Expo, he won the men's Category 3 section at the Elgin Classic after totalling 167 points. The Caribbean Junior Cycling Championships will take place from August 28 to September 1 in Barbados.
