Yuvraj Singh beats cancer, selected for India’s Twenty20

After a battle with cancer  30yr old  Yuvraj Singh  is part of  India's ICC Twenty20 squad  which will face against New Zealand  in a warm up match before the World Twenty20  series.

The series gets underway in Sri Lanka on September 18.

The Man of the Tournament in the ICC World Cup 2011 stopped playing for India in November 2011 after being diagnosed with a rare cancer which goes by the technical name - lung seminoma.

The cause for this health problem reportedly had something to do with the genetic predisposition developed during the fetal phase when he was in his mother’s womb

He had to undergo Chemotherapy.
