There was an average 4.2 pe rcent increase in the cost of apparel for the year to December 2023.
Looking at the price movements for November to December, the Statistical Institute of Jamaica says clothing and footwear realised inflation of 0.3 per cent.
The price for footwear specifically went up by 0.1 per cent over November.
