Senior Vice President for Investment Banking at Mayberry Investments Dan Theoc has asserted that there is more than adequate capital in the system, despite concerns about a fall in the local equities market.

He says, with a number of companies expected to go to the equities market to raise capital, some investors are holding out for the right opportunities.

The combined market index for the Jamaica Stock Exchange ended last week, up by one per cent, with the Jamaican dollar market capitalization standing at J$1.87 trillion.
