The Cayman police have confirmed that the remains recovered in the mangroves in East End last month are those of a Jamaican man.
The deceased is 26 year old Adrian Williamson who was reported missing July last year.
The cause of death has not been released.
Mr Williamson was residing in George Town at the time of his disappearance.
His remains were found in a secluded section of the mangroves on November 30.
