Classes suspended at Anchovy High following altercation between teacher and student

Classes for students in grades 9 to 11 at Anchovy High School in St. James have been suspended following an incident yesterday in which the Dean of  Discipline was reportedly attacked during an altercation on the compound.
 
RJR News received a video showing the male teacher in a tussle with a female student. Other students converged and a female security guard is seen intervening.
 
Lambert Robinson, Principal of  Anchovy High, last night confirmed that an incident occurred at the school and an investigation is being carried out. He said classes for the more than 1200 students have been suspended pending an emergency meeting today with teachers and other staff members at the school.
 
He is also awaiting information from the Dean of  Discipline who reportedly had to seek medical attention.
