Just over a month ago in February we reported on a case of fraud involving a staff member at a financial institution in St Ann. Our Newscentre received information indicating the fraud involved over 35-million dollars.
We have continued to investigate the reports.
We note that the Banking authorities and the police have said they have not received any reports on that fraud.
In those circumstances and since our investigations have not provided any corroborating information, our news centre retracts the story. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.
