Man arrested in relation to multi-million dollar robbery at Kingston gas station

The police have made a breakthrough in their probe into a multi-million dollar robbery at a gas station on East Queen Street in downtown Kingston.
 
Zahir Andrews, 38, a resident of Georges Lane, has been charged with shop breaking and larceny.
 
Investigators reported that on September 2, thieves broke into the Texaco Gas Station and Café and stole $3 million cash, a cash register and liquor.
 
Mr. Andrews was arrested last week.
 
He was charged on the weekend.
