A Tropical Wave currently approaching Hispaniola is expected to move across Jamaica Wednesday evening through to early Thursday morning.
The forecast is for cloudy conditions with periods of showers and thunderstorms, which may be heavy at times, to affect sections of most parishes.
The Meteorological Service says sea conditions will deteriorate in the vicinity of showers and thunderstorms.
Fishers and other marine interests should exercise caution.
