Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a shipment of illegal guns intercepted at Kingston Wharves.
The two, including a woman, were arrested on Wednesday evening during an operation in Kingsland, Manchester.
This was confirmed by Superintendent Sam Blake, who heads the Firearms & Narcotics Investigation Division, .
Two barrels with 17 illegal guns were reportedly cleared by the woman.
This came after another shipment of 30 illegal guns and more than 100 rounds of ammunition were seized at a warehouse on Marcus Garvey Drive in Kingston earlier this month.
