US Secretary of State Antony Blinken calls for strong security foundation in violence-wracked Haiti

United States Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, says it is necessary to provide a strong security foundation in violence-wracked Haiti.

Mr Blinken said that in his meetings with leaders of the security mission and the Haitian police yesterday, they discussed how to ensure that security personnel are well-trained, well-equipped, and accountable so that they can work together to effectively combat violence and instability and maintain Haiti's momentum.
