Efforts under way to tackle homelessness in Barbados

Efforts are under way to establish a national taskforce to end homelessness in Barbados.

Minister of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs, Kirk Humphrey is calling for a hollistic approach that involves his and other ministries, various government departments and NGOs to tackle the issue.

Mr. Humphrey spoke at recent a press conference ahead of a meeting to establish a national task force with stakeholders.

He said a comprehensive response will be provided.
