The nominees for the 91st Academy Awards were announced Tuesday morning in Los Angeles.
A Star is Born was among the leading nominees with eight nods, including for Lady Gaga as best actress, Bradley Cooper for best actor and Sam Elliott for supporting actor.
A Star is Born was again nominated for best adapted screenplay, as well as best cinematography and sound mixing, best picture and Gaga and Mark Ronson for best original song for Shallow.
The film The Favourite leads all nominees with 10 nods.
Black Panther, with seven nominations, is the first comic book movie to ever earn a best picture nomination, Spike Lee's BlacKkKlansman has seven and Bohemian Rhapsody, 5.
The 2019 Oscars ceremony will be broadcast live on February 24 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
