Aaliyah's self-titled album returns to top 10 of Billboard chart

The self-titled 2001 album from late R&B singer Aaliyah has returned to the top 10 of Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

This is the second Aaliyah album to hit the top 10 following the release of One In a Million on streaming platforms.

Several of her hit songs have also seen an increase in sales including Rock the Boat, More Than a Woman, Are You That Somebody?, We Need a Resolution, and I Care 4 U.

Record label Blackground recently re-issued the late singer's 1996 album, One in a Million and the soundtrack to the film Romeo Must Die.

Two more Aaliyah releases are on the horizon, with the 2002 compilation I Care 4 U and the greatest hits LP Ultimate Aaliyah scheduled for October 8.
