Clarks releases Jamaica-inspired collection

Popular shoe brand Clarks is paying homage to Jamaica by releasing a collection inspired by the country.

The new "Jamaica Pack" for Spring 2021 will comprise the Desert Boot, Desert Trek and the Wallabee, with each shoe in shades of yellow, green and black as a nod to the Jamaican national flag.

Clarks is dubbed the 'national shoe' of Jamaica, with a relationship dating back to the 60s.

It has been mentioned in many dancehall songs and is a staple shoe for many top entertainers and even the Prime Minister.

The UK shoe brand most recently teamed up with Jamaican born Manchester United striker Raheem Sterling, donating thousands of pairs of shoes to students attending Sterling's alma mater, Maverley Primary and Infant School.

Clarks has also been working closely with Jamaican Grammy-winning artiste Koffee through her non-profit organisation Families Rule/MLT, a charity focusing on youth empowerment through training, mentorship and scholarships.
