Dancehall artiste Ishawna
Dancehall artiste Ishawna has severed ties with Downsound Records.
Reports are that Ishawna will no longer be affiliated with the independent label in any way. The split reportedly happened earlier this week.
While on the label's roster, Ishawna rose to popularity, releasing hit after hit, including Need Love, Restraining Order and Do for Love with then label mate Specialist.
Ishawna is one of three female artistes booked to perform on Dancehall Night of Reggae Sumfest, next Friday.
