Eminem in the movie '8 Mile', for which 'Lose Yourself' was written
American rapper Eminem has hit a major streaming milestone as his 2002 smash single Lose Yourself reached one billion streams on Spotify.
He celebrated the moment by posting a montage video of the song's award-winning run since its release.
Lose Yourself scored him his first No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2002, his first and only Oscar for best original song in 2003, his 2003 MTV VMA for best video from a film, and his Grammy Awards for best rap song and best male rap solo performance in 2004.
Eminem wrote Lose Yourself for the 2002 motion picture 8 Mile, in which he also made his film debut.
