As the fourth anniversary of the death of dancehall singer J Capri approaches, her father Kenneth Phillips is releasing a song in her honour.
The single titled Hard to Say Goodbye is slated for release on August 29, under his J Capri Music Group (JCMG) label.
Phillips said he hopes the song will preserve the legacy of his daughter.
During her short time on the music scene, J Capri secured hits with the songs Whine and Kotch featuring Charly Black, Pull Up to My Bumper alongside Konshens, and Reverse It.
J Capri born Jordan Phillips, died on December 4, 2015, weeks after a motor vehicle accident.
