Ja Rule and Fat Joe
Hip-hop icons Ja Rule and Fat Joe are set to face off in the new season of Verzuz.
The September 14 friendly competition will take place in person, live from New York.
Over the course of his career, Ja Rule has released eight number one Billboard Hot 100 singles, including Always On Time featuring Ashanti and I'm Real with Jennifer Lopez.
Fat Joe released his debut solo album Represent in 1993, and went on to drop hits What's Luv, also with Ashanti, as well as Lean Back.
Ja Rule and fat Joe's collaborative hit track New York featuring Jadakiss, was a top 30 Hot 100 song.
