Kanye 'Ye' West
American rapper Kanye 'Ye' West has been suspended from Instagram for 24 hours after using a racial slur in reference to comedian and talk show host Trevor Noah.
Ye's comment comes after Noah criticized his attitude towards ex-wife Kim Kardashian as terrifying.
The Jesus Walks rapper has been condemned for his repeated negative remarks and actions about Kardashian and her partner Pete Davidson.
Meta, which owns Instagram, said Ye violated the platform's policies on hate speech and bullying, as well as harassment.
Although his account remains visible, he is unable to like post, comment or send direct messages.
