Mariah Carey sues former assistant for breaking NDA

Singer Mariah Carey has sued her former assistant for breaking a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), negligence and theft.

Carey is seeking at least $3 million in damages from Lianna Azarian and a restraining order to keep her former assistant from further breaking the nondisclosure agreement.

Azarian worked for Carey from March 2015 through to November 2017 as an executive assistant.

Azarian is accused of secretly recording Carey and threatening to release embarrassing videos unless the pop star pays her $8 million.
