Culture and Entertainment Minister Olivia Grange expressed sadness at the loss of another member of the musical fraternity and extended sincere condolences to Merciless' family and associates.
The 51-year-old artiste, born Leonard Bartley was known for the singles Gal Dem Gizzada, Mama Cooking, and Di Letter.
He was also hailed for several high-profile lyrical clashes against Ninjaman, Bounty Killer, and Beenie Man.
