'Prison Break' returns after almost eight years

Action-drama television series Prison Break is back after nearly eight years for a new nine-episode run.
    
The premiere of the show’s long-awaited fifth season attracted 3.8 million viewers.
    
Prison Break tells the story of two brothers: Michael Scofield – a brilliant architect, and Lincoln Burrows – who is framed for the murder of the Vice President’s brother Terrence and sentenced to death.
    
Michael hatches a plan to get Lincoln out of prison landing himself in the same institution and recruiting inmates to help with his plot.
    
Season four ended with Michael presumed dead, but it has been revealed in this new season that he is in fact behind bars in Yemen.
