Rapper J. Cole signs with professional basketball team in Rwanda

American rapper J. Cole will finally see his basketball dreams realised after signing on to play professionally in Rwanda.
 
His team, the Patriots BBC, will face Nigeria's Rivers Hoopers on Sunday, opening the first ever Basketball Africa League (BAL).
 
The musician, born Jermaine Lamarr Cole, has always expressed an interest in playing the sport professionally and has tried out for a number of teams in the NBA. 
 
The 36-year-old Grammy Award winner is expected to play three to six games this season.
