Actress, director, and producer Kerry Washington and Broadway star Sheryl Lee Ralph who both proudly claim their Jamaican heritage, are among 31 entertainers to be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The list also includes Grammy Award-winning producer Dr. Dre and radio icon Angie Martinez.
The celebrities will be added next year in categories ranging from film to television to sports.
Other honourees include Grammy Award-winning singer Toni Braxton.
The late Otis Redding, and Black Panther star and actor Chadwick Boseman will be posthumously honoured with the prestigious recognition.
No dates or times have been announced for the upcoming ceremonies.
