The 18th staging of the Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival will get off the ground on Thursday at the Trelawny Multi-purpose Stadium.
Thursday night – dubbed Jamaica Night - will see performances from some of the finest local acts, including Marcia Griffiths and Friends, in celebration of her 50th anniversary in music.
Other acts to be featured include The Other Side of Moses Davis; Chronixx, Chalice; Christopher Martin, Leba and Bryan Art.
The show which ends on February 1, will also feature Beres Hammond, Chaka Khan, Toni Braxton, Aaron Neville, Christal Gayle and The O'Jays.
