Stefflon Don set to release 'Island 54' album inspired by Jamaican Heritage

Rapper Stefflon Don is beaming with pride as she speaks on her Jamaican heritage.

The Hurtin' Me artiste has managed to win over the hearts of many in just over six years.

She will break another glass ceiling with her long-awaited debut album, dubbed Island 54, set to be released in 2023.

She explained that the title was inspired by the fact that she's an island girl.

Stefflon noted that she waves the Jamaican flag high, wherever she is in the world and is sure to incorporate bits of the culture into her music and fashion.

Stefflon, whose real name is Stephanie Allen, has ties to the hardcore community of Denham Town in Kingston, where her father is from.
