An online poll conducted by the Jamaica Star on its social media pages has revealed that incarcerated deejay Vybz Kartel and Queen of stage Spice are the top entertainers of 2019.
Vybz Kartel's popularity topped that of fast rising artiste Teejay.
The Up Top Boss, finished second with Popcaan, Masicka and Alkaline rounding out the top five.
In the female category, Spice dominated rivals Shenseea, Jada Kingdom and Koffee.
At least 25 entertainers were mentioned as possible Male Artiste of the Year while the pool of persons suggested for Female Artiste of the Year was about 15 persons.
