The Port of Bridgetown in Barbados resumed full operations Monday morning after it was forced to close following last week's ash fall from La Soufrière volcano.
The Port will also continue to work vessels and make container deliveries as it has done during most of last week.
Extensive clean-up of roadways and operational areas has been undertaken and efforts will continue to mitigate against the ongoing impacts of volcanic ash.
Monitoring of the environmental conditions will also continue to ensure the operational spaces are safe and without risks to health.
