Coca-Cola's global sales slid seven per cent in the three months to September as consumers kept the lid on carbonated drinks.
The fall to US$10.6 billion was the sixth consecutive quarterly decline in revenue for the world's biggest soft drinks company.
The Latin America and Europe, Middle East and Africa regions both posted a four per cent slide in sales, although North America had three per cent growth and Asia rose four per cent.
Water and sports drinks helped drive a three per cent rise in still beverage sales.
Net profit also fell 28 per cent to $1 billion in the quarter.
