General Accident Insurance Company has reported a strong improvement in profitability for the year ended December 2025, driven by higher insurance revenue and investment income.
According to its audited financial statements, the company recorded net profit of $451.5 million, up significantly from $248.3 million in 2024. Insurance revenue climbed to $13.1 billion, compared with $11.4 billion the previous year.
The company also reported improved insurance service results of $543.6 million, more than doubling the $248.9 million recorded in 2024.
Net investment income also increased to $560.5 million, contributing to total net insurance and investment results of $984 million.
Profit before taxation rose to $613 million, while total comprehensive income for the year amounted to $470.2 million.
The results reflect continued growth in the company's core operations, despite higher operating expenses and finance costs during the period.
