Jamaica Broilers Group has reported a sharp improvement in its operating performance for the financial year ended May, although the company still recorded a net loss of J$6.8 billion.
The Group's revenue increased by about three per cent to $74.6 billion, while gross profit rose by more than 40 per cent to $21.7 billion.
The Group's continuing operations generated a net profit of $3 billion, compared with a loss of $2.9 billion in 2025; however, this was more than offset by a $9.8 billion loss from discontinued operations.
Despite the overall loss, Jamaica Broilers ended the year with $2.6 billion in cash, compared with about $406 million the previous year.
For the parent company, Jamaica Broilers, revenue was $60.7 billion, down slightly from $61.4 billion, while net profit fell to $1.1 billion from $2.5 billion.
