PBS Group has completed the acquisition of Trinidad Systems Limited (TSL), taking full ownership of the Trinidad & Tobago-based company.
PBS acquired the remaining 55 per cent interest in TSL, following an initial investment in the company in 2024.
TSL, which has operated in Trinidad & Tobago for 47 years, will continue to operate as a separate entity under its existing brand.
The company says there will be no change to existing customer contracts, services or support arrangements, and its management team will remain in place.
TSL's Chief Executive Officer, Stuart Franco, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer for PBS's Eastern Caribbean Cluster.
The cluster comprises Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana, Suriname, Barbados, Antigua & Barbuda and other member countries of the OECS.
Mr Franco will oversee both TSL and PBS operations in the cluster and report to PBS Group Chief Executive Officer Pedro Paris.
Paris says the acquisition forms part of PBS's broader strategy to strengthen its regional presence and enhance its range of business solutions.
