PBS Group reports stronger profitability for first quarter of 2026

PBS Group is reporting stronger profitability for the first quarter of 2026, despite a decline in revenue compared to the same period last year.

The company points to improved efficiency and tighter financial management in relation to the performance.

For the quarter ending March 31, profit after tax rose sharply to $2.8 million, up 64.7 per cent, year-over-year, driven by lower finance costs and improved debt management. However, revenues fell ten per cent to $84.6 million, compared with the same period last year.

The group also highlighted regional expansion moves, including new leadership appointments in the Eastern Caribbean and partnerships supporting digital transformation and education initiatives.

The company expects to deliver double-digit growth in revenue, cash flow, and profitability for the full year 2026.
