The Private Sector Organization of Jamaica is expected to name a new president later this week, following the departure of Metry Seaga.
The announcement is expected after the organization's annual general meeting, which was held at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel last week.
Nominations were made at the meeting for executive positions and the heads of the PSOJ's various committees.
The full leadership team, including the new president, is expected to be confirmed in the coming days.
The PSOJ is regarded as the country's most influential socio-economic lobby group, with significant input in national policy discussions.
The leadership change comes at a critical time, as Jamaica continues the recovery process following the impact of Hurricane Melissa.
