Betting and gaming company Supreme Ventures limited registered an increase in profit and payouts for the its first quarter, which ended March 2022.
The company made $1 billion in profit, a 66 per cent improvement compared to the same period in 2021.
Gross ticket sales also improved, amounting to $27.7 billion, a 164 per cent improvement.
Supreme Venture's gaming segment made $12.7 billion for the three months, an 18 per cent increase.
Payouts for the period totalled $20 billion.
Supreme Ventures says it is optimistic about the upcoming quarters, as the country shows signs of recovery from the pandemic, and more Jamaican are open to recreational spending.
