Reggae artiste Capleton has been coming under more fire from gay rights activists.
It is understood that the recent Canada Day concert, which the artiste was supposed to perform on in Toronto last week, was forced to move from downtown Toronto to Brampton because of Pride Week - a celebration of gay pride in Toronto.
Capleton was originally booked to perform at the Sound Academy, the waterfront concert venue on June 30.
The artiste, who is known for music which preaches the virtues of rastafarian tenets of purity and individual rights, is also known for anti-gay lyrics.
However, in recent years, he seems to have softened his anti-gay stance and in 2007, Capleton signed the Reggae Compassionate Act, condemning homophobia.
Despite this, numerous concerts have been cancelled by gay rights activists who contend that he continues to use anti-gay slurs to hype his audience.
