Kevin Macdonald, the British director best known for Touching the Void and The Last King of Scotland, has returned to documentary for his latest film, Marley.
Marley tells the story of the reggae legend Bob Marley's life, through interviews with his friends, colleagues and relatives.
The film which is due out in late April is the first to be authorized by the Marley family.
Mr. MacDonald says the film which was launched in Jamaica on Wednesday April 4 focuses on Marley as a man rather than a musician.
Filming has taken MacDonald all over the world - from Marley's home in Jamaica to India, Japan, Uganda, Kenya and Uganda.
