Gargamel Music to release Buju’s fifth album

The musical career of reggae singer Buju Banton has not stopped despite him being behind bars.

It is understood that Buju’s record label Gargamel Music, is looking to release his ninth studio album on the same day that the artiste, whose given name is Mark Anthony Myrie, is to return to court in the United States for his ongoing drug case.

Fans in North America will have access to Before the Dawn album on September 28.    

Buju was imprisoned in the US last December for conspiracy with intent to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine and possession of a firearm.
