Marleys to perform on eve of T&T’s 50th independence celebrations

On the eve of Trinidad and Tobago’s 50th Independence Anniversary, four sons of the legendary bob Marley, will take to the stage at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Port-of-Spain.

 Damian, Julian, Stephen and Ky-mani is set to deliver a concert length performance tonight.

The event is billed as a fusion of Soca and Reggae.

 According to organisers, the event is aimed at promoting peace, unity and brotherhood.

The gates will open at 7 p.m. and the concert is schedule to begin at 9 p.m.

Opening acts include Collis Duranty, who is known for his scintillating delivery of reggae ballads, and popular local recording artiste Orlando Octave.
