Sean Paul has been nominated in the category best word, stage for the 2012 MTV Europe music awards.
Others nominated in the category include Flo Rida , Justin Bieber, LMFAO, Maroon 5 ,Nelly Furtado, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Taylor Swift and Snoop Lion.
Voting for EMA categories is open from now until Friday, November 9.
The show which takes place in Germany will air in the U.S. on MTV2 November 11.
