Hollywood Actor/director Tyler Perry has inked a new exclusive deal with the OWN network and has reportedly shelved plans to launch his own cable network.
Perry, who is best known for his TV network series "House of Payne," "Meet the Browns" and "For Better or Worse," previously connected with Oprah Winfrey on the film "Precious."
According to reports tyler perry had met with both Lionsgate and One Equity Partners about launching his own network.
The new deal will leave OWN as the owners of any shows created by Perry under the deal.
